It's our 12th week

In the twelfth week of our food waste management project at MAS Intimate Pannala, we encountered challenges in scheduling a meeting with Thushanthi Madam. Nevertheless, we persisted in making progress in other areas, including collecting ideas for posters, engaging in menu planning discussions, and recording FM channel messages. Here are the key activities and developments during this week:

  1. Meeting Challenges with Thushanthi Madam: During Week 12, despite our best efforts, we faced difficulties in coordinating a meeting with Thushanthi Madam. Multiple attempts to schedule the meeting were unsuccessful due to conflicting schedules and unforeseen circumstances. Nonetheless, we remain committed to finding a suitable time for this important meeting to seek her valuable insights and guidance.
  2. Collecting Poster Ideas: Throughout this week, our focus was on gathering ideas for creating informative posters. These posters will play a vital role in raising awareness about food waste management among the MAS Intimate Pannala community. We brainstormed creative and impactful designs to visually convey the importance of reducing food waste and the actionable steps individuals can take to contribute to the cause.
  3. Engaging in Menu Planning Discussions: As part of our ongoing collaboration with MAS Intimate Pannala, we actively participated in discussions about menu planning. By closely working with the food committee and other stakeholders, our aim is to design menus that minimize food waste while still meeting the nutritional needs and preferences of the employees.
  4. Recording FM Channel Messages: Despite facing time constraints, we managed to record some of the FM channel messages. These messages serve as a critical medium to reach a wider audience and inspire behavioral change towards responsible food waste management. While we were unable to record all the messages during this week, we remain committed to completing the recording process in the upcoming weeks.

Week 12 presented challenges with meeting Thushanthi Madam, but our team remained steadfast and resilient. Progress in collecting poster ideas, engaging in menu planning discussions, and recording FM channel messages demonstrates our unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable food waste management practices at MAS Intimate Pannala. As we continue to forge ahead, we remain dedicated to driving positive change and making a meaningful impact in reducing food waste within the organization.
